Beatriz Pichi Malen is an Argentine singer of Mapuche origin whose work is dedicated to the search, transmission, and celebration of her indigenous culture. With her mapuche music, singing in her native language, she shares the poetry, vision and strength of her mapuche community, practicing an exercise of belonging, identity and pride very necessary currently. 

 

In 1990, her international career began when she was invited by the Rockefeller Foundation to participate in the IV International Women’s Congress. Beatriz is the most important singer of ancient Mapuche songs. Enjoy this great musical work; simple, pure, harmonious with the earth.
